C.C. Banana Invades New York Comic-Con!

Again branching out beyond his rock & roll roots, C.C. Banana recently hit the Jacob Javits Convention Center to attend the first ever New York Comic-Con! Decked out in his colorful new superheroic threads, C.C. was interviewed for the G4 TV program Attack of the Show and by the video crew of DCComics.com! He also conducted a few interviews of his own with Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada, Infinite Crisis penciler Phil Jimenez and Jason Mewes of Jay & Silent Bob fame. The Banana's spandex escapades were so well-received that they earned their very own headline at Cinescape.com! C.C. Metal mainstay W.A.S.P. is headlining its very own package tour this summer, though as ever the roster has already attracted its fair share of allegations and controversy. To get to the bottom of this metal mystery, C.C. Banana recently invaded their ranks to do some investigative reporting. Along the way he conducted a total of 9 asinine interviews with the bands on the bill, including members of Metal Church, W.A.S.P. and L.A. Guns! As part of these inane interrogations, C.C. solicits their opinions of the latest rock news and even tries to stump them with trivia about themselves! Though C.C. Banana has scored some impressive interviews in the past, this time the fabulous fruit has truly blasted into hyperspace! While attending the massive Star Wars Celebration III in Indianapolis, C.C. managed to slip in a question to the very father of the Force, filmmaker George Lucas! Not only did the Banana's unorthodox inquiry impress the main man himself, it also evoked an outrageous response from the thousands of assembled Star Wars fans! The Banana Birthday Blowout was a night of music and mayhem attended by several hundred dedicated die-hards and hosted by their favorite fruit!
