C.C. Banana Featured in CLASSIC ROCK Magazine! |
| Classic Rock Magazine (UK) Issue 60 Websites That Rock: CCBanana.com One would imagine that the sheer indignity of fighting a man dressed as a giant banana might make even the most volatile of rock gods think twice. Image is everything, after all. Unless, of course, you're Sebastian Bach. With a career that is going down the tubes, Big Bad Bas should surely be cultivating the few fans he has left. Even if they are giant bananas. But no. When C.C. Banana (www.CCBanana.com) approached Bas recently, a hissy fit of some intensity ensued. Thankfully, other rock dudes take the joke in altogether better spirit. All the fruity one's encounters have now been collated on the video Backstage Banana, available through the site. C.C. Banana began life as a joke about Poison fret-strangler C.C. DeVille, who famously wore a sandwich board offering autographs for $2 and photos for $5. The Banana then took on a career of its own. The reverse has been true of the fruit's nemesis Sebastian Bach. Bach began as a serious rock star and ended up as flouncing out of a touring musical of "Joseph's Technicolour Dreamcoat." According to www.SebastianBach.com, Basser has now embarked on a TV sitcom career in a show called "The Gilmore Girls." "I play a character that's kinda like 'The Fonz' of the Gilmore Girls," Bas writes. Hmmm. |
